The Board of Directors for the Pewaukee Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the selection of Richard (Dick) Strassburger as the new President of the Chamber, effective immediately.
Dick’s love for business comes from his background as a business owner and advertising and marketing executive. “In the marketing space, it’s been an honor to be invited to peer inside other peoples’ businesses to analyze and discover growth opportunities that help them become more relevant to their customers and increase value to themselves and the market. As a former business owner, I understand the challenges owners face today and look forward to providing opportunities that will enable deeper conversation around these issues. And overall, this is an exciting time to evolve the Chamber’s value to it’s members and continue building a vibrant business community and economic growth for Pewaukee and Lake Country. This position allows me to build on current successes and create new opportunities for the Chamber to be a highly valued asset to its members. I would like to thank the Board, and especially the Chair Lisa Oman, for shouldering the functions of the President and keeping this chamber vibrant during the transition period.”
Dick was raised in Wauwatosa and attended Tosa East High School. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a degree in Mass Communications.
